Calling all Angels....Sinners and Saints
This week is big for all of us. Winter solstice and the last full Moon of 2010 which also happens to be a total lunar eclipse (visible in all of North and South America) coincidentally occur on Dec. 21st. A synchronistic ending and new beginning - the fruition of the December lunar eclipse cycle and the initiation of winter - take place at virtually the same time this year, heralding a cosmically charged celestial event, an energetic manifestation of ethereal regeneration and rebirth. Old patterns and fresh paths dance in circles of redemption and resurrection, life and death merge in an evolutionary process of energetic re-creation. Out of the ashes, from dust to dust, the alpha and the Omega. Biblical sayings and spiritual teachings, chaos theory and quantum physics, magic and miracles, angels and avatars gather as the shortest and longest days and nights of the southern and northern hemispheres fall in harmony with the exact opposition of the Sun and Moon. Our greatest expectations, most cherished dreams and most vivid memories collide in a process of reawakening and reinvention. We are at once aware of and in touch with the eternal partnership of polarities and are asked to see the inherent necessity, beauty and balance in and of them all.
The third of five full Moons forming at the last degree of a sign, the Dec. 21st total lunar eclipse is another mandate for universal compassion and wisdom. Much like Pisces - the last sign of the tropical zodiac - the final degree of a sign indicates the signs most evolved state or energetic imperative. Taking place at 29 Sagittarius/Gemini, the world and its inhabitants are slipping into an electromagnetic force field that opens portals, shifts grids and spirals dimensions. Now within 3 of the Galactic Center, the winter solstice Sun shimmers with shades of Mayan cosmologies and prophetic foreshadows of 2012.
It is here we see and understand the thin line between sinner and saint. We rise above judgment and intuit the dependence of one upon the other, equals in existence and experience. We are being asked to join the parts of ourselves that have knowledge and foresight with the parts of ourselves that have none, listen to those who have more experience and knowledge than we do, cultivate divinity - inside and out - and explore new, spiritually inspirational paths. Calling all angels, its time to rise to the highest heights, touch the stars, ride the moonbeams and rock the ages. Dark and light, boy and girl, war and peace may the Great Mystery embrace, direct, protect and guide us upon journeys of inspiration and paths of heart. Happy Full Moon Eclipse and Merry Winter Solstice!
Here we are, on planet Earth, humans men and women, boys and girls walking the earthwalk, talking the earthtalk and living in harmony and disharmony together. No matter how we cut the cake or divvy up the pie, statistically the male and female species is pretty much in gender balance, numerically equal. But is that the only actual, factual equality between the sexes?
The mid-degree Sagittarius New Moon of Dec. 5th opened the door to the fruition of the upcoming Full Moon/total lunar eclipse taking place on Dec. 21st Winter Solstice @ 29 Sagittarius. Ruled by Jupiter planet of religions, crusades and international/foreign culture - and sign of spiritual generosity and enlightened thinking, Sagittarius is every part and particle a warrior of spirit, the archetypal Archer who aims his arrows toward the stars. Ecliptic windows - the weeks prior to and following solar and lunar eclipses are times of great power and potential. And this particular eclipse cycle aligns with an area of the Milky Way GalaxyGreat Attractor, that emanates great electromagnetic force and gravitational attraction the portion containing the the Shapely Supercluster and the Galactic Center hows that for daunting?

My husband Richard and I and our three big golden labs arrived safely in Todos Santos, Mexico, yesterday afternoon under sunny skies. It was 80F and breezy. Our 1,000-mile journey down the Baja Peninsula was cool and calm. Not much traffic we crossed at Tecate plenty of skinny, two-lane blacktop highway and a plethora of cacti along the way. We stopped halfway down to visit old friends and retired Telluride ski patrollers Mona and Gerry Wilcox at their Punta Abreojos casa and ended up sharing Thanksgiving dinner with them out at a camp on their favorite surf beach. Rod Martin, another x-ski patroller, happened to be in the neighborhood his sons Caleb and Nathan have a place there, too. We feasted on Halibut from Alaska and some tasty local, fresh caught fish battered and fried by the Quill - refritos, couscous with veggies and a fresh green salad. No turkey, no gravy, no pumpkin pie. Se la vi
And now, were smack dab in the middle of teal-blue ocean, breaking waves and swaying palms. Venus rises in the morning predawn skies just as beautiful and brilliant as it does back home. The tiny slip of the waning crescent Moon is just as delicate and delightful here in the Baja as it is in Colorado, and the stars are just as bright. I miss my family and my friends, but I know today that Im living my destiny, part of a bigger picture, exploring new horizons, experiencing a foreign, hybrid 21st century culture and speaking Spanglish - a traveling wheel rolling down the road of life. I am thankful and grateful to be here, to be here on Earth, to be here in body, mind and spirit. Alive and well.
On Dec. 5th @ 10:36 a.m. MST the Sun and Moon will once again form the conjunction aspect of a new Moon and another lunar cycle will begin. This month the conjunction takes place @ 1328 Sagittarius, in the middle decante the heart and soul of the Archer a place of deep gratitude, enthusiastic idealism and righteous action. Sagittarius is all about truth, faith, optimism and generosity of spirit. A mutable fire sign, it is flexible, adaptable and likely to go out if it is not fed a consistent diet of good ideas, positive thoughts and high-minded aspirations. Fueled by the hot, flickering flame of desire and the intention of right action, this energy and lunation encourage us to open our hearts and minds, believe in ultimate goodness, cultivate faith in a Universal Spirit, go further and reach higher. Its about vision and inspiration, exploration and discovery. Its time to live your dreams and pursue your fantasy. May the abundance and great good fortune of the ever-expanding Archer guide, protect and direct your path. Blessings, peace and joy
I dont know how many of you get up early enough to see the magnificently brilliant planet Venus rising in the predawn darkness as a morning star. But what a blessing for those who do! And for those of you who havent witnessed this stunning celestial sight, its something you should really, really, really try to see. This week Venus - the Earths closest planet next to its satellite, the Moon - is riveting in its beauty, exceptionally bright in magnitude and so big, it looks like a UFO. And theres also something magical about rising before dawn, watching the eastern sky grow slowly turquoise, pink and crimson. The quiet peace and tranquility, the twinkling stars, the phenomenal cosmic world - before the hustle and bustle of cars and trucks it embraces the spirit and centers the soul. Great way to start the day - getting in synch with the Universe.
That said, our Thanksgiving weeks Scorpio/Taurus Full Moon combines spirituality and physicality, reminding us that health is wealth. To achieve a healthy relationship with the physical world, we must balance our carnal appetites and material desires with spiritual practice and intellectual pursuit. For all of us, this is a time to see the interconnected relationship between body, mind and spirit. To understand, accept and embrace the wisdom of holistic thinking, living and being. In the quest to find love, beauty and wealth for ourselves, we encounter and interact with others. As we come to value and believe in our personal talents, we reach out and share them with the world. And, this is the magical essence of this lunation: share your beauty and bounty with each and every person, place, plant, rock and creature you encounter. Count your blessings and recognize the power of thanks giving. Give thanks. Be kind to your body, free your spirit and nurture your soul. Seeking Calm, Tranquil Water on a Raging Sea
Venus has returned as a morning star, and for those who rise before dawn, its a magnificently beautiful celestial treat. Currently retrograding through the late degrees of light and lovely Libra, we are being briefly shimmered with vibrations of sweet balance and heavenly grace. Its an energy that encourages us to find the common ground, shared intention and mutual benefit in our relationships for the good of all concerned cultivate tranquility and promote peace.

This morning I awoke to a deep, blue-black sky, the twinkling lights of our tiny western cow town glimmering beneath the almost invisible horizon of the eastern San Juan skyline. Above and west of zenith, Sirius - the faithful dog star of mighty Orion the Hunter - shimmered its bright-white light like a beacon from heaven to earthlings below. In the north, the arcing handle of the Big Dipper pointed gracefully to stellar Arcturus in the east, rising above the thin, mountain horizon-line of dawn. All was quiet and peaceful - muy tranquilo, as they say...
The magic of the Moon is undeniable and irrefutable. Its a power beyond the beyond, a muse of mystery and a celestine companion in our timeless revolutions around the Sun. It touches us all - heart and soul, body, mind and spirit. As it eclipses the light of the Sun every 28 and one half days, we watch it go from cusp to cusp waning crescent to waxing crescent, over and over - and as we experience the cosmic birth, death and rebirth of each recurring cycle, we are reminded that we too are cosmic bodies, subject to the same cosmic forces and cycles - wax and wane, up and down, ebb and flow. This week, take a peek and feel the vibe, ride the tide. On Nov. 5th at 10:52 p.m. - just hours following the Suns early morning conjunction to voluptuous Venus - the Sun and Moon align in the conjunction aspect of a fresh New Moon @ 1340 Scorpio. This a lunation of great beauty, power, peace and sweet, sweet love. May you walk in beauty, experience the blessings of grace and shimmer in the magic of the moment. Happy Scorpio New Moon!
Again and again, I am captured by the colors of autumn. The blush of peach, the deep reds, golden yellows and luscious greens quicken my heart and take me to a place of grace, gratitude and humility. Its somehow connected to the thin line between life and death, the world of spirit and the heavenly, ethereal celestial sphere the metaphysical mysteries that taunt and haunt, intrigue and entice me, fill me with wonder and tempt my imagination to explore and travel in the worlds beyond.
Halloween - a Scottish variant of the fuller All-Hallows-Even, the night before All Hallows, or All Saints Day - is typically linked to the Celtic festival of Samhain, which was celebrated to commemorate the end of summer and the beginning of winter the Celtic New Year. The lighter half of the year gives way to the darker half, the Harvest Moon has come and gone and hunters prowl the forests. It is here that the veil between the living and dead becomes most thin, allowing spirits both good and evil - to enter realms they normally cannot. Its a time to honor family ancestors, invite them home and set out treats as well as carve jack o lanterns, light bonfires and dress up in frightening costumes to ward off harmful spirits.

Mystical, Metaphysical Magic and October's Hunters Moon
Last week I made the journey over the Continental Divide to the Eastern Slope the place of my birth and all along the way I was treated to a veritable feast of color, texture and light. Mid-October in Colorado is painted in brilliant yellow, luscious peach, crimson red, pumpkin orange and mouth-watering shades of green. From the time I left home to the moment of my return, my eyes danced with the morphing landscape and the transformational beauty of the Mother Earth.
Our tawny blonde mesa was streaked with threads of gold and burnished auburn. Blue-green sage and forest pinon watched as I drove down our country highway, the deep blues of the La Sals in Utah standing like a sentry to the slick rock lands beyond. Further west, immersed in the pink-red walls of Gateway Canyon, blazing cottonwoods lined the slow-moving, mud-colored Dolores River, their yellow-orange leaves a Halloween contrast to the gnarly, black charcoal trunks below. Then came the Unaweep the territory between Gateway and Grand Junction a place of granite spires and sweeping valleys, miles of red-orange oak and grazing horses, homestead cabins and working ranches. Stunning and magnificent, it literally took my breath away.
And now, back home, I greet the fruition of the Hunters Moon - the second full Moon following Autumn Equinox and the mystical, metaphysical power of October. The zodiac month of Libra draws to a close in the early morning hours of Oct. 23rd the Full Moon takes place at 7:37 pm MDT on October 22nd at 2932' Libra/Aries and the Scorpio magic begins. Spirits fly and days grow short. Fires are kindled and snow falls. Instinctively we go inward. There is something primal and private, soulful and deeply moving about this time of year. Surrounded by the final blaze of autumn, we face the Great Mystery of life and death.
For all of us, the Oct. 22nd Full Moon illuminates our most poignant and powerful issues of sharing and pairing. We are presented with the reflecting pool of relationship and asked to identify our roles and the parts we play in them all. So as you gaze in to the reflective mirror of your relationships, see the beauty and bounty in you. Be the best you can be, open your heart, feel and share the love. Peace and blessings. "Live each and every moment of your precious life."
Lise Christine Gausman
Its mid-October and the days are blessings of brilliant blue, crimson red and golden yellow. Temperatures range from highs in the mid-60s and 70s, to lows in the mid-30s and 40s. So far, there has been no hard frost. My tomato plants are still producing fruit, our pink roses are in bloom and the zinnias are bursting with color. Magnificent Indian Summer!
Last week I celebrated the day of my birth, the day I chose to incarnate, the day that somehow, someway, the miracle of procreation created me. And here it is, LIFE. Life on Planet Earth, with all its magic and mystery, pain and suffering, ecstasy and joy. I know today that all is as it should be, all is as it is, and that everything happens for a reason even if I cant see or understand why.
I am practicing the art of acceptance and witnessing my emotions and feelings along the way. Of course, good days and good things are easier to accept than bad things and bad days, but somehow I know that on the spiritual plane, theyre both the same. I am learning to recognize the difference between what I can change me and my attitudes and what I cannot just about everything else. And I know today that thinking doesnt always get me where I want to go Ive gone the wrong direction on that path many times so Im counting more and more upon the wisdom of my heart; feeling and doing. Compassion is my ally and acceptance is my practice. I am learning to accept what comes.
As a natural born Libra, I love peace inner and outer - and gravitate toward equilibrium, harmony and balance. I understand polarity day and night, light and dark, good and bad, joy and sorrow and that one depends upon the other. It all comes from the same Cosmic Source. What goes up, must come down and life is a roller coaster of both. Im learning to ride the ride with courage and serenity rather than anxiety and fear.
That said, I had a fabulous, fantastic birthday on 10.10.10 a day I long anticipated and wanted to be special so I kept it simple. A ride to Moab, a hike to Delicate Arch, a late Italian lunch and carrot cake at home. Age has its benefits. Im thankful and grateful, fortunate and blessed, living each and every moment of my precious life. Heres to another revolution around the Sun!
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19)
This week is filled with excellent opportunities for rebalancing important relationships. Recognize your part in the ups and downs, positives and negatives of your interactions with others. By accepting responsibility for your own behavior in the present and making amends via right action now! you can reboot your entire life. Practice awareness, day by day.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)
Your mind may be on others and what they do or dont do this week. Notice how expectations are a set-up for disappointment and, eventually, resentment. Release attachments to outcomes and recognize the difference between what you can control and what you cannot. Focus on simple self-improvement, lead by example and cultivate basic goodness.
Gemini (May 21-June 21)
Mars marching through Scorpio fuels fires of desire when it comes to programs of service, sacrifice and self-betterment. Great satisfaction comes via lending a helping hand or being and feeling useful. You have valuable gifts to give the world and giving them to others is a genuine path of heart. Feel the depth of sharing selflessly and embrace grace.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Home and family continues as a theme this week. Push and pull, the challenge and imperative choice is that of balance. Breathe deep and release stress in exhale. Know that all is as it should be. Accept everything exactly as it is, in the moment. Count blessings and focus on gratitude.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22)
Venus retrograde in Scorpio premiers a show of life review, and you are the star. Utilize emotional detachment as you watch the flickering images of home and family, childhood and youth. The characters are flawed yet beautiful, fully human yet fully spirit. Mom and Dad, brother and sister hold the key to our hearts and our souls. Remember, family is gold.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22)
As you wind your way down the road of life - and walk the path of Libra dos and donts remember that quality and quantity are up to you. Embracing responsibility for the condition of your current life and relationships is presently powerful and ultimately profound. Attitudes and actions are choices we make daily. Awake with gratitude and choose with grace.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct.22)
Birthday candles flicker and wishes for peace and prosperity abound. As you walk the road of rebirth, recognize the art of practice. Daily habits become established routines and routines are the stones with which we build the structures of our life. Destiny is character and good character results in happy destiny. Cultivate awareness and stay on the path.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
Love and money planet Venus moving retrograde through Scorpio translates as a potent time for romantic and financial review. By utilizing the experience of previous relationships as a tool, we can unearth the feelings and understand the dynamics of our behaviors. This is a powerful potion of healing if we accept the medicine and are willing to heal.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20)
The last week of Libra delivers a waxing Moon and an increasing appetite for inspiration. Move in the direction of enlightened thinking and spiritual being as autumn deepens and spirits fly. Surround yourself with positive energy and people of common goals and aspirations. Look for angels and fly with wings of hope and faith. Stay committed to goodness.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)
Wondering whether or not things will work out to your liking is simply a waste of time. Do what needs to be done focus on right action and let the Universe take care of the outcome. Faith without works is dead, but work without faith is also a dangerous place in which to operate. Continue to work toward goal manifestation, but let go and live free.
Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)
The desire to escape, travel or explore new territory is strong as Libra light illuminates fantasy and excites the imagination. All things considered, you could use a vacation. Soar above your life and take a good look. Prioritize necessities and proceed in a practical, timely manner. Do what needs to be done and before you know it, youll be there!
Pisces (Feb. 18-Mar. 20)
Other peoples business and issues continue as a theme as you find yourself helping others get their personal and financial lives in order. Do what you can and then let go. Theres a fine line between genuine assistance and enabling others to perpetuate unhealthy or dysfunctional behaviors. The main thing is staying healthy yourself. Be good to you!

Fresh Starts and New Beginnings in Relationships
The Libra zodiac month is the time of year for pairing and sharing. And the Libra lunar cycle which begins with the yearly advent of the Libra New Moon pinpoints the most fertile and favorable astrological period for fresh starts and new beginnings in relationships. In 2010, this lunation takes place on Oct. 7th @ 12:44 p.m., when the Sun and Moon align in the heavens at 1424 Libra. It is here - when the cosmos takes its monthly momentary metaphysical pause between death and rebirth, old and new - that the celestial world is reborn. The cosmic wheel turns and invisible doors open to the unlimited possibility and potential of our ever-expanding Universe. And it is here that we are also encouraged to take pause, mark our station, breath deep and exhale just as deeply.
The process of inspiration and expiration in and out, give and take is what the Libra lunation is all about. Its time to take a good, long look at what we are putting out in the world ideas, words, thoughts, emotions and feelings, actual physical acts and material contributions, actions of good intent or questionable intention, selfish desires or motives of service, kindness and compassion? What is your present state of mind and spiritual condition? How about your energy quotient? What do you see in others? Do you see basic goodness or basic badness in the world at large? Notice the power of attitude and how strongly attitudes affect the behaviors of others. And what about the relationship you have with yourself? Are you kind and gentle, loving and self-nurturing or judgmental, harsh and critical when it comes to looking in the mirror of self-reflection? And perhaps most significant now - how do you feel about the people and circumstances of your most committed and important relationships?
Good news! Its time to start over in all of the above. And if you dont choose to do it consciously, it will be done for you - regardless! This years Libra New Moon has partnered up with the Lord of Karma - Master Teacher Saturn - the taskmaster of the zodiac, and the message for all is to get serious, face reality and see clearly where and how we can clean up our selves and our relationships. And it demands that we start at Square One, Ground Zero our personal relationship with Self. We are being shown that our relationships with others can be only as good as that primary, first relationship. How can we expect others to love, nurture and respect us if we dont love, nurture and respect ourselves?
This is an influence that will last long in to 2011, and it exists as a fortuitous opportunity to work on establishing healthy, happy and enduring relationships that have the capacity to weather the storms and reap the harvests of lifes beauty and bounty for many years to come. So, with honor and respect, compassion and loving-kindness, lets embrace the grace of gratitude, maintain healthy boundaries, practice self-care and focus on inner peace, balance, integrity and cultivate harmony in our relationships. Good luck and as Libras ruling planet Venus goes retrograde in Scorpio this week, know the secrets of sweet love live in an open and loving heart. Happy Birthday!

Acceptance is the answer and the key to freedom.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Its time to purge and transform whatever is working against you, from the inside out. Become a witness to your own thoughts and feelings. Practice detachment and embrace self-love.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22)
Domestic life and family-of-origin relationships may have been feeling sticky or stuck, but the Oct. 7th New Moon provides ample opportunity for starting over and getting unstuck. Love, compassion and detachment for self and others are the golden keys that open hearts and move us forward. Smile, maintain healthy boundaries and be generous of spirit.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22)
Romantic and financial possibilities continue to dance and dive as Mars and Venus flirt and fly in seductive Scorpio. Communication is an effective tool now and your words have the power to affect miracles and make magic or destroy trust and damage relationships. Pay close attention to what you say and, remember, silence can be golden.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct.22)
The Sun and Moon come together in your sign on Oct. 7th and herald the rebirth of your personal, emotional year. Soul and spirit unite in a magical, ethereal body of love and light. Embrace the beauty and bounty of the Mother Earth, dance with stars and delight in darkness. Live each and every moment of your precious life. Choose joy and cultivate peace.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
You may find great solace in prayer and discover the ultimate joy of trusting your life and turning your will over to a power bigger and higher than you are. Cultivating conscious contact with the Divine Force of your understanding is an awesome, powerful choice and one you shall never regret. But it takes great courage to take that leap of faith. Good luck!
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20)
Libra air fans Sagittarius fires and flames of love and light illuminate the cosmos. Friends are willing to share time and space, camaraderie warms the heart and inspiration abounds. Keep your eyes to the skies and your heart in a place of peace and spiritual generosity. Refrain from judging others and cultivate a healthy, happy garden of soul and spirit. Yes!
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)
A New Moon and Venus retrograde encourage enlightened attitudes and acts of camaraderie. Its time to reexamine and reconsider alternative points of view regarding career goals and professional desires. Polar opposites may look different but are inherently the same. Look for common denominators and focus on solutions rather than problems.
Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)
The conjunction of numinous Neptune and health-focused Chiron in Aquarius at the time of the Libra New Moon translates as a metaphysically magnificent time to initiate programs of spiritual and physical wellness. Any type of illness or dis-ease is likely to dissolve in the ethers with time and practice if you commit to a program now.
Pisces (Feb. 18-Mar. 20)
Jupiter and Uranus conjunct in late Pisces as the Sun and Moon conjoin in Libra portend a lunar month of great opportunity and awakening for the Fish. As always, maintain a compassionate heart and a kind, loving attitude when dealing with damaged spirits and dysfunctional behaviors. You are one of the few who can help and heal others. Do your best.

September 30 to October 7, 2010
Visible Planets: Morning: Mercury Evening: Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn
Pairing and Sharing; Trust, Passion and Intimacy
September and October are all about relationships how we show up in them, our desire to have them, what we do to sustain them and whether or not we are healthy and happy within them. The zodiac months of Virgo - how we prepare ourselves to be attractive and worthy Libra how we attract and pursue others and Scorpio how we feel and behave once weve made a commitment to another occur at the time of year when we instinctively want to pair and share. Summer ends and autumn begins. Nights grow cool and days are shorter. Brilliant fall colors open our hearts to natures beauty and the bounty of harvest invites us to gather together at feasting tables and celebrations of the season. We look for partners and people with whom we can share our time, attention, food, possessions, thoughts, feelings and experiences. The pull to engage and involve ourselves with others is strong.
That said, this week combines the pairing and sharing energy of the years traditional mating season with a variety of dynamic planetary aspects and stations. Fleet-footed Mercury ancient messenger of the gods forms a semi-square to both Mars and Venus, a quincunx to Neptune, opposes Jupiter and Uranus, enters Libra, squares Pluto and then conjuncts the Moon, opening our minds and lighting fires in the realms of interactive communication, learning, teaching, education, information and perception in general. Recognize the transitory quality of thought and how quickly emotions come and go. Be on the lookout for words charged with criticism, feelings of urgency, impatience or insecurity and compulsive desires that may lead to impulsive actions, rash decisions or unenlightened behaviors. On the upside, brilliant ideas and exciting experiences can fuel enthusiasm and put wheels in motion regarding creative, romantic and spiritual pursuit. Pay attention to what you think and say as per The Four Agreements - be impeccable with your word.
And, then, in the middle of all these mental Mercury gymnastics, a super-sexy Venus/Mars conjunction in seductive Scorpio puts sizzle in the air and stirs up the primal urge to merge. Plenty of deep emotion and passionate desire come up against individual and shared needs for independence and freedom, making it difficult to understand the push and pull, hot and cold energies within ourselves and others. Sex and sexuality, marriage and commitment are themes. This is the classic predator/prey dynamic and one that serves as a catalyst in understanding the deepest workings of our souls and psyches regarding trust and intimacy in our relationships. Peace offerings, diplomatic conversations and efforts of compromise and negotiation are favored throughout the week, while balance and equanimity are keys to success. Good luck and may the passion of Mars and the sweet love of Venus find places of grace in the safe harbor of your heart. Blessings and peace
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19)
Snap, crackle and pop potential comes this week as Mars and Venus join force in Scorpio, sign of secrets and sexuality. Be extra cautious when it comes to hurting emotionally or psychologically those you love. Honesty and integrity are imperative now, but recognize the gold of silence. Make amends via right action rather than clever dialogue.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)
Macho Mars and voluptuous Venus come together in seductive Scorpio this week, delivering a blend of passion and attraction to up close and personal relationships. Mystery and magic are in the air as autumn colors blaze and nights grow cold. Open your heart and hearth to those who need shelter from the storm. Be sweet, be kind and be ready to take action.
Gemini (May 21-June 21)
Planetary punch comes via mobile Mercury this week as it forces a balance between the worlds of family obligation and professional responsibility. But, thats business as usual for mutable, adaptable Twins. Major changes and expanding possibilities deliver options, and you may feel stress or guilt regarding children or parents. Love, live and let go.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
A waning Moon relieves emotional pressure and reconnects you to the deep well of feeling that fuels your heart and soul. Take some time out to recapitulate and process events and experiences of the previous weeks. Look for angels and say your prayers. Recognize the magic, mysterious, metaphysical regeneration of autumn and the beauty of endings. Relax.
Leo (July 23-Aug.22)
Mars and Venus conjunct in your solar 4th house of home and family may stir the pot when it comes to brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers, children and spouses. Practice the art of breathing and releasing judgment as often as possible. The world is really a beautiful place, full of joy and opportunity. Focus on the positive and do the best you can.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22)
What you think and how you perceive others jumps and jives as mental Mercury opposes expansive Jupiter and rebellious Uranus in late Virgo/Pisces, then moves in to Venus-loving Libra. In a nutshell, you may first feel taken advantage of or unappreciated, then suddenly forgiving and embracing. Focus on your part and let others take care of themselves.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct.22)
Its a big week for Libras as candles flicker and cakes are cut. As your birthday month evolves, take notice of whats happening inside. Feel feelings and examine motives. Understand that what you think is not always right. Tap in to the golden treasure of heartfelt emotion. Listen to your angels and connect with the beauty and bounty of the Mother Earth.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
Others see you as seductive and sexy, secretive and yet, somehow sublime. That said; dont let steamy self-indulgent behaviors get in the way of healthy relating. Recent stress and strain may have taken its toll, but its your job now to see how much of it is and was self-created. Self-responsibility is the handmaiden to freedom. Happiness is freedom. Be free.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20)
The seasonal wheel turns as autumn delivers a stunning blend of color and cosmic change. Creative action on the domestic front fuels professional wellness and brings you closer to discovering a healthy balance between time at home and on the job. Great joy and deep spirituality are present within if you look up and out. Feel the grace.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)
Domestic pressure sparks professional options as you see and perceive others and yourself differently. These times appear to be rife with discord and disharmony, but underneath it all a flowing river of light turns the evolutionary wheel with grace and grandeur. Tap in to the divine source, the Great Mystery, the peace of acceptance. Let go and evolve.
Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)
Ruler Uranus and jovial Jupiter in Pisces oppose mutable Mercury in Virgo this week and pull you toward new awakening and perception regarding what you think and what you do. How are you feeling and what are you doing? How you feel is directly connected to what you do. If you dont feel good physically or spiritually take action. Do it new!
Pisces (Feb. 18-Mar. 20)
Jupiter, Uranus and Mercury in late Pisces/Virgo ice the cake on personal awareness and awakening this week. A long time coming, you have changed and transformed behaviors and attitudes to the tune and tempo of a brand new you. Embrace the healthy and happy spirit that fuels your heart and soul. Recognize the power and grace of gratitude and live free.

The Harvest Moon and Autumn Equinox Initiate Fall
The 2010 Harvest Moon comes to fruition just six hours after the Autumnal Equinox, not only adding extra oomph to an already powerful time of year, but also illuminating the present condition and current state of our affairs personal, social, global and planetary. We are awakened to what is and what is not, what works for or against us, how we feel and how we deal. Taking place at the very first degree of Libra/Aries, this Full Moon/Equinox is beaming direct rays of light on our most important, significant and committed one-to-one relationships specifically how we show up for others and how they show up for us and asking us to take a good, long look at what we see.
Aries is all about impulse, action and instinct while Libra is more about strategy, diplomacy and negotiation. Both are concerned with getting personal needs and desires fulfilled, its just a matter of style and preference as to how its accomplished.
We are being tossed in to a room of revolving mirrors, where the reflections of self and other are constantly changing in size, shape and scope. Dont be surprised if you find yourself playing the diplomat one day and a demanding child the next. Or perhaps you are simply attracted to change, something totally different and unusual. The bottom line is that we are opening new energetic gateways and revealing new options in our sharing and pairing. What inspired us once, no longer seems to. The world is upside and sideways, nothing makes sense and security is an illusion.
The best we can do is to be true to our values and ourselves, treat others with respect and kindness, do the next right thing and take it one day at a time. This is a time to be healthily selfish, accept responsibility for the condition of our relationships and personal affairs, work on doing what we can to make this Earth a better place to live and breathe, and be totally present at all times and in all ways be here now!
We are embarking upon a fall season of great potential accomplishment, maturity and fruition. Equanimity, self-motivation and sweetness are allies. Good luck and may the beauty and bounty of Harvest be with you. Peace, love and joy
Aries (Mar. 20-Apr.19)
Autumn Equinox initiates the official season of sharing and pairing for the Ram. One-to-one relating takes priority as mornings cool and days blaze with color. Breathe deep and embrace the love and beauty. Inner change and inner peace are themes, and you are quick to understand that one depends on the other. Honesty and integrity are allies. Practice both.
Taurus (Apr. 20-May 20)
The glowing Harvest Moon illuminates issues of peace, tranquility and equanimity for the Bull. The quality of your life and your relationships depends upon the approach, attitude and manner in which you treat others. Attempts to control outcomes works against rather than for. Live and let go, the Universe provides clues and messages. Look and listen.
Gemini (May 21-June 21)
8 oppositions and 15 squares, Autumn Equinox and the Harvest Moon conjunct the Super Galactic Center guarantee a week of awakening and awareness. Each day, exciting new truths and expansive options appear. Its time to embrace the mission of your birth chart and live the life you are here to live. Surrender to the divinity of destiny by being true to you.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
The Harvest Moon is a special lunation for Moonchildren and Autumn Equinox marks a zodiac month of personal, internal process and emotionally fueled regeneration. Feelings rule, as childhood memories and behavior patterns emerge amongst the changing leaves and morphing terrain. Inner beauty comes via inner peace. Embrace the day!
Leo (July 23-Aug.22)
The Autumn Equinox and companion full Harvest Moon highlight the intense, ongoing cardinal T-square thats been in orb since last summers powerful Leo new Moon. For Lions, this translates as more of the same: communicate, balance and temper behaviors as you practice conscious restraint and heartfelt loving-kindness. Listen to your angels and be cool.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sep.22)
You pass the torch to that laughing, loving and sometimes lazy neighbor Libra kid on the block this week, and in so doing, you feel relief. Recent goals have demanded time and attention, dictated work and effort. Now that theyve come to fruition, you can relax. Enjoy the blossoming, full-blown beauty of the Harvest Moon and know that you are blessed. Yes.
Libra (Sep. 23-Oct.22)
Autumn Equinox marks the beginning of the Libra zodiac month and time of annual rebirth and renewal. As you approach the day you picked to incarnate on this earth plane, pay attention to spirit. Are you in touch with that eternal, ethereal essence that transcends the physical and material? Touch the Mother Earth, feel the magic and live the beauty.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 22)
With both voluptuous Venus and mighty Mars now dancing so close in Scorpio, you may be feeling exquisitely in touch with both your masculine and feminine selves and sides. Desires for love, romance, action and attention are strong. Temper passion with acceptance and ride the ever-flowing river of life with both grace and gusto. Tap into spirit and relax.
Sagittarius (Nov. 23-Dec. 20)
We have entered a new millennium and century, approaching the Galactic Center and marking time for 12.21.2010. Is it really Armageddon? Yes or no, stop or go? As the optimistic, enthusiastic Archer of the zodiac, point your arrow toward the bulls-eye of spirit. Practice spiritual consciousness and focus upon the numinous and divine. Embrace what comes.
Capricorn (Dec. 21-Jan. 19)
Ongoing cardinal squares and oppositions involving Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto have taken their toll and continue to morph and transform the way you perceive and define reality. Judgmental, self-righteous, demanding behaviors have withered in the fire of divinity and you understand that radical, total acceptance is the key. Surrender.
Aquarius (Jan. 19-Feb. 18)
Numinous Neptune joins force with chiropractic Chiron this week and opens doors of metaphysical, spiritual healing and enlightenment. Surrender to forces greater and more powerful than yourself. Resistance fuels discomfort and rigid, self-righteous behaviors do nothing to help change the world. Be willing, cultivate humility and practice prayer.
Pisces (Feb. 18-Mar. 20)
We can never be too strong or too loving, and the Universe asks for both in this radical time of awakening. Personal and global change is running rampant, reality is transforming and values are in a spin. Center yourself in the here and now, touch the Mother Earth and embrace the magic of metamorphosis. Be an example that others can emulate. Simply do your best.

Indian Summer, Autumn Equinox and the Cosmic Bridge
Its no secret that I love Indian Summer. Its by far and away my favorite time of year. After all, I chose to enter this earth plane in early October, when the leaves are in full blaze and the skies are so deeply blue it takes my breath away. I always feel a combination of ecstasy and sorrow as summer ends and autumn begins. The bounty of harvest - delectable, delicious vine-ripe tomatoes, luscious homegrown grapes and rose-colored, sun-kissed apples takes me back to my earliest memories of fall - walking home from school, golden leaves swirling and the sun fiery-hot upon my back. The season of hide-and-seek, swimming pools and freshly cut grass was over. Classrooms, football and homework had begun. A strong sense of anticipation, the awareness of change, the ability to canvas the present with the past and accept myself exactly as I was at that moment - knowing that it was up to me to make the best of it, whatever that might be - be a good student, do my best, embrace the unknown and walk courageously in to the future, one semester at a time I might move closer to becoming the person I wanted to be.
For me, this time of year the cosmic bridge between hard-working, virtuous Virgo and laughing, love-touched Libra - is all about ideals and inspiration, gratitude and surrender. And, this week, as we officially bid adieu to our sizzling, seductive summer and open our hearts to the magnificent magic of autumn, may we also transform with the changing leaves and metamorphic terrain upon which we live, laugh and love.
